The Mary Towneley Loop


The memorial to Mary Towneley. The final pull up to the top of Gorple Gate. Steve arriving at the memorial. Mike looks on while Andy and Steve sort out Andy’s bike. This time it is Mike’s turn to fix his bike, well a puncture. Andy crossing a beck shortly after we went wrong at Whitgrove reservoir. The last technical descent on a path made up of gritstone blocks. Heading towards Stoodley Pike. Nearly there, just one steady climb to do then all downhill.
